OK, yesterday I finished up 14 star blocks to be mailed to "Just One Star", those will go into the mail tomorrow. The button to link to the star project is on the top left of my blog if you would like to check it out or join in.
Last night I finished hand quilting the last border on "Two Piece Puzzle" and the embroidery on the border blocks for the baby quilt. Today I put the border together and it is now on the baby quilt top. Tomorrow I hope to be able to get it sandwiched and ready to start quilting. The baby isn't due until late May, but I want to have it finished. I'm planning to make an I Spy quilt for big brother so we can mail the quilts off together. I also machine stitched the binding on to "Two Piece Puzzle", so I can start hand stitching it down tonight. I also did 3 loads of laundry today and got to hang it outside to dry. I call that good progress!
What did you get done today ? ? ?
That was a productive day. I can't wait to see pictures! Today was not a quilty day for me, but I did get groceries and finish up tax returns so I do have things to cross off my to do list.
ReplyDeleteI'd call your accomplishments good progress too!
ReplyDeleteI didn't get to any quilting today. I baked a cake to take to a former co-worker whose son died Saturday in an auto accident, and went to the wake tonight. So sad! I also raked and bagged lots of leaves and put weed and feed on the back yard! I'm pooped! *whew* May I call that progress? Please??? ---"Love"
Go, Marsha, Go! I cleaned my sewing room and cut out Autumn's Easter dress today. Oiled my New Home, rolled the bobbins and changed the needle! All set to start sewing this morning (3/16).

Sounds like everyone has been very productive, in one way or another. I am looking forward to pictures of the Two Piece Puzzle quilt.
ReplyDeleteI am picking my granddaughter up from kindergarten today. We will have a busy afternoon baking, doing crafts, playing games and reading books.

Did do some work for the guild quilt show. Took hubby to the doctor. Did hand stitching on a mystery quilt project. Not much progress, but a little.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you were working all day Marsha. You got a whole lot done. I just printed off all the info on the star block project, now I need to find some fabric.
Keep stitching!
