It is hard to believe that tomorrow is the start of June! I've been busy creating lots of pretty things and the time has flown by.
You can click on the photos to enlarge them for a closer look.
Here are pictures of the quilt I made for my son. He had asked a couple years ago for a police themed quilt. It took me a while to find the right fabric.
I still haven't had a chance to visit and give it to him but hope to soon.

And a new grand baby arrived in March. Here is her Sunbonnet Sue quilt.
Each of my smallest grand daughters has a Sunbonnet Sue quilt now and she will be the last grand baby, my kids have all decided they are done having kids. Between DH and I we have 16 in total.
I just had a chance to go to Montana and visit my DD, SIL and their four kids. Here is grandma with the bunch. Johnny, Joey, Jordyn and Journee.
My latest quilt project, a table runner and place mats. The old placemats were falling apart so I used a patriotic fat quarter bundle I bought a few years ago and made some new pretty ones. The table runner pattern is a free one from Shabby Fabrics and the placemats are adapted from another pattern. I just used the same star block, added a thin red border on each side then added a blue side panel and bound in red. The turned out great and I love having something pretty on the table.
I also made another table runner for coffee table. This is a Kansas Troubles pattern called Garden Time done in Pam Buda fabrics. I love how it turned out, too.
I am trying to work on smaller quilts, I am running out of room for the big ones!
The other things keeping me busy lately are some cross stitch.
A couple are bigger projects that I will frame, the rest are small stitches for fun. I have to take some time out from stitching to get these all finished to enjoy.
That's about all for now. I am enjoying seeing all the beautiful things everyone else is making.
